Crossbow Shooting Adventures

Crossbow shooting combines skills from archery and rifle shooting. You shoot bolts, which are like shorter versions of the arrows used in archery. Crossbows use a trigger to shoot the bolts, a bit like rifle shooting.

You will shoot at a target that is normally between 8 and 20 metres away.

Crossbow shooting is for Scout age and upwards, so unfortunately we are not able to run this activity for the younger groups. It does mean they have something to look forward to!

We run courses for the Master at Arms Badge for Scouts and Explorers. Crossbow shooting can also be used in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, either as a skill or a sport.

If you would like to book a session for your group then please get in contact with us.

Group bookings

Group bookings are accepted, up to a maximum of 15 young people per session. This will give each young person the chance to have a good shoot.

Camp or Meeting visits

We can attend your camp or weekly meeting if the venue is large enough for us to safely set up a range. Get in touch to discuss options.
